Abstract
The article presents a clinical observation of a 41-year-old female patient with lymphoma undergoing autologous stem cell transplantation is presented. Evidence-based red blood cell and platelet transfusion strategies contributed to the successful treatment of this patient with profound thrombocytopenia after stem cell transplantation. It is demonstrated that thromboelastography can be used in diagnostic monitoring of platelet transfusion efficacy.
