Abstract

The brief educational, research, pedagogical and organizational activities of a prominent Soviet and Russian neurophysiologist, a prominent scientist and teacher are described. His contribution to the study of the structural and functional organization and the relationship of various brain structures in conditioned reflex activity and behavior in humans in normal and pathological conditions is noted.
