The review presents publications about prostatic artery ebmolization. Based on the analysis, the general principles and concepts of minimally invasive surgical treatment of patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia were formed, the main groups of options for the postoperative course and complications after this intervention were formed. The prognostic role of prostate hyperplasia volume is emphasized.
