Abstract

On the basis of long-term experience in the use of right anterolateral thoracotomy in more than 4000 patients with various heart defects including more than 2800 patients with infectious endocarditis the advantages, indications and peculiarities of the operative technique of this access in sparing cardiac surgery were demonstrated.
