Abstract

Мaterials and methods: We have studied long-term results of the surgical treatment of 118 patients with critical decrease in contractile function of the left ventricle (ejection fraction is less than 30%) after coronary artery bypass surgery. Average observation period was 24,2±11,3 months. It was shown that significant predictor of improvement of regional contractile function of LV myocardium segments after revascularization, which determines the term of improvement is a thickness of accumulation of the contrast agent. Predictors of improvement of global contractile function of LV myocardium are the terms of myocardium revascularization after MI and specific combination of myocardium segments with affection depth of more than 50% of the thickness.

Keywords: сoronary heart disease, ischemic cardiomyopathy, cardiac failure, coronary artery bypass surgery, direct revascularization, myocardial vitality.
