Abstract

The results of clinical application of modern methods of prevention of venous thromboembolic complications in 109 patients with injuries of the musculoskeletal system are analyzed. The study used Doppler ultrasound with color Doppler mapping, radiopaque venography (retrograde ilocavore), hemostatic study. Preventive measures included the use of mechanical methods, pharmacological prevention using heparins of different molecular weight. With the development of embolus thrombosis to prevent pulmonary embolism, the victims underwent endovascular interventions with the installation of a cava filter.

The analysis showed the effectiveness of preventive measures in patients with proximal femoral fractures from the first day of hospital stay, allowing to reduce the incidence of thromboembolic complications.

Keywords: phlebothrombosis, hemostasis, prevention.
