Abstract

The article considers the prerequisites and requirements that lead to the need to deepen the digital transformation of medical institutions and health care in general. It is shown that the transition to innovative patient-centered medicine to preserve rather than restore his health requires a new fundamental organization of the health information system (MIS). Based on the analysis of requirements, an enlarged version of the next-generation HIS architecture is proposed, which ensures the fulfillment of the requirements for a “smart clinic”.

Keywords: digital transformation, medical information system, 4P-medicine, interoperability, digital twins.
